Josh is a Technical Director with over 10 years of experience at leading digital companies in both Australia and Canada. Starting his carrier as a Flash developer in the digital advertising industry, Josh worked on many international award winning projects such as Spooks Interactive (2008 BAFTA Award) and Dharma Wants You (2009 Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award) for clients such Sony Entertainment, ABC (US), BBC (UK), National Geographic, RedBull and TELETOON.
In 2011 after moving to Canada he changed his focus to learning the specifics of 3d game engine development and continued to work on innovative websites and apps. In 2015 he was the sole developer on the Sleepy Hollow VR project, the first VR experience to win a Creative Arts Emmy and has been working in the medium ever since. In the years since he has been the technical lead within Secret Locations innovation lab, led the companies first full featured VR game Blasters of the Universe which was released in 2017 and more recently over sore the development and production of SL’s second game property Transpose.
Still at Secret Location today, he is the Head of Technology overseeing the development and production of all internal content projects at the company
